SAYREVILLE, NJ – If you’ve wondered where some of the district’s larger building projects and facility improvements stand, the Sayreville Board of Education provided some answers during its June 16 business meeting.
The board approved a series of financial resolutions that could move more than $17 million into reserve accounts for future construction projects, maintenance work, and security upgrades throughout the district.
The funding is intended to support long-term facility needs and infrastructure projects across Sayreville schools in the coming years.
Millions Set Aside For Future School Projects
The largest action taken by the board was approval for the district to transfer up to $16,647,500 in unspent 2025-2026 budget funds into the district’s Capital Reserve account.

Several facility projects are already underway.
