SAYREVILLE, NJ — Towne Lake West Student Organizes Community Cleanup Tied to Earth Day

A Sayreville student is organizing a community cleanup aimed at bringing neighbors together while encouraging environmental awareness around Earth Day.

Anjali Shah, a resident of Towne Lake West and a freshman at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology (MAST), is leading a cleanup effort scheduled for Sunday, April 26, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will take place within the Towne Lake West development, where residents are being invited to take part in cleaning and maintaining shared neighborhood spaces.

Shah, who initiated the effort, said the goal is to help improve the local environment while also encouraging community participation and engagement among residents.

The cleanup is being held as part of Earth Day-related community activities, with an emphasis on local involvement and neighborhood upkeep.
