Scareville Bringing Scare Trail, ‘Coco’ And More To Sayreville

The free Halloween and Día de los Muertos event will bring food trucks, vendors, entertainment and an outdoor movie to War Memorial Park on Oct. 17.

SAYREVILLE, NJ — Halloween fun and Día de los Muertos traditions are coming together for an evening at War Memorial Park later this month.

Scareville, organized by Cultural Arts of Sayreville, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the park behind Borough Hall.

The free community event will feature a scare trail, food trucks, entertainment and a vendor market, along with an outdoor showing of Disney’s “Coco.”

Food trucks, entertainment and the vendor market are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

Those planning to stay for the movie are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. A separate start time for “Coco” has not been announced.

Admission is free and no registration is required. Food and other items from participating vendors will be available for purchase.
