Sayreville Storm 2017 Team Shuts Out Neptune and Rumson in Back-to-Back Wins

SAYREVILLE, NJ — The Sayreville Storm 2017 girls’ soccer team recorded two shutout victories last week, defeating the Neptune Sirens 3–0 on October 16 and the Rumson Fire Dawgs 2–0 on October 19.

In the win against Neptune, Evelyn Parlagreco, Chelsea Craig, and Quorra Weber each scored unassisted goals to lead the Storm’s offense. Margaux Venittelli and Khloe Lozano anchored a strong defensive effort, keeping the Sirens away from the net. Goalkeepers Weber and Valentina Cabral also made several key saves to preserve the shutout.

Three days later, Sayreville continued its momentum against Rumson. Kylie Pariente and Kayla Puhan helped secure the midfield, and Craig made several fast advances up the sidelines, connecting on well-timed passes.
