Sayreville Police Roll Out New Online Reporting Tool to Make Non-Emergency Reports Easier
SAYREVILLE, NJ — Sayreville residents now have a faster and more convenient way to report certain non-emergency incidents, as the Sayreville Police Department has launched a new online reporting system. The platform is designed to reduce wait times and make it easier for residents to submit reports without visiting police headquarters.
The department is offering three ways to access the system. Residents can call the police department’s Quick Connect Line at (833) 314-1258, scan a QR code using their smartphone, or visit SayrevillePolice.org and click on “File a Police Report.”

The online reporting tool covers a variety of common, non-emergency issues. These include vandalism or criminal mischief, fraud and identity theft, harassment, lost property, property damage, minor thefts such as borough trash cans, traffic complaints, and violations of child custody agreements.
Police officials noted that not every situation can be handled entirely online. Some reports may still require an officer to respond in person, depending on the details of the incident.
The department stressed that the system is strictly for non-emergent matters. Any emergency situations should continue to be reported by calling 911.
