SAYREVILLE, NJ — Sayreville War Memorial High School is outlining its priorities for the upcoming school year, with a focus on improving student performance, expanding programs, and upgrading facilities across the campus.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s being proposed for the 2026–2027 school year.
📊 Math Scores Improve — New Targets Set
School officials reported progress in student performance, particularly in math.
The graduation proficiency rate for 11th-grade students increased from 61% to 66% over the past two years, exceeding previous expectations.
Looking ahead, the school is aiming even higher.
For the next academic year, the goal is for 64% to 69% of students to meet requirements on the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment.
