Grab The Mic: Sayreville VFW Post 4699 Plans Karaoke Nights And Halloween Dinner Dance

SAYREVILLE, NJ — Sayreville VFW Post 4699 is preparing for three nights of music, dancing and Halloween fun, beginning with a patriotic karaoke event Friday.
All three events will take place at the post, located at 575 Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville.
Patriotic Karaoke Takes The Stage Friday
The VFW will mark Patriot Day with a karaoke night hosted by DJ Mike Martino on Friday, Sept. 11.
Guests are invited to sing songs from across the decades, with patriotic attire encouraged. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Another Karaoke Night Returns Sept. 26
Residents will have another opportunity to take the microphone when the VFW holds a second karaoke night on Saturday, Sept. 26.
DJ Torok will host the evening, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
Halloween Dinner Dance Planned For October
The celebration will take a spookier turn when the VFW hosts its Halloween Spooktacular Dinner Dance on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Clem and Friends will provide live music and dancing from 7 to 11 p.m.
Costume contests will also be held during the evening.
Tickets cost $70 and include dinner, an open bar and live music. The event is being presented as a night of entertainment and support for veterans.
