Thinking About a Career in Law Enforcement? Meet Sayreville Police at Major NJ Recruitment Fair This Wednesday

SAYREVILLE, NJ – Residents interested in a career in law enforcement will have an opportunity to meet officers from the Sayreville Police Department and dozens of other agencies at a large recruitment event taking place this Wednesday.

The 2026 Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair, hosted by Kean University and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, will bring together more than 100 federal, state, county, and municipal agencies for a full day of career exploration in the criminal justice field.

The event will be held Wednesday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Harwood Arena on the campus of Kean University in Union, New Jersey.

Officials from the Sayreville Police Department said they will be attending the event and encourage anyone curious about policing or public safety careers to stop by and speak with officers.

The fair is designed to give attendees a chance to meet representatives from agencies across the region, ask questions about the profession, and learn more about the hiring process.

While policing will be a major focus, the event will also highlight careers in legal services, administration, and forensic sciences, offering a broader look at opportunities within the criminal justice system.

Organizers say the event is open to students, recent graduates, and community members who may be considering a future in public service.

Anyone planning to attend is encouraged to bring multiple copies of their résumé to share with agencies throughout the day.

The recruitment fair will take place at Harwood Arena, 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Wednesday, March 11.
