Lost Dog Found on Devonshire Way: Sayreville Police Seek Owner of “Sergeant Snuggles”

SAYREVILLE, NJ — A dog found wandering on Devonshire Way is now safe, and Sayreville Police are asking residents to help locate its owner.

According to a March 29 post from the Sayreville Police Department, the dog was discovered in the neighborhood and is currently being cared for.

Police described the dog as friendly and in good condition, adding that officers have temporarily nicknamed him “Sergeant Snuggles.”

Anyone who recognizes the dog or knows who it belongs to is asked to contact the Sayreville Police Department at 732-727-4444.

Authorities are also encouraging residents to share the information to help reunite the dog with its owner.
